It’s Time To Take A Risk

As Christians, we are called to walk by faith and not by sight. This means that we are not supposed to be governed by our fears, but by the assurance that comes from our trust in God. Taking risks is an essential part of this walk of faith. When we take risks, we step out of our comfort zones and into the unknown, trusting that God will guide us.

Taking risks is not easy, and it often involves uncertainty, discomfort, and the possibility of failure. However, it is important to remember that we serve a God who is in control of all things, and who promises to be with us every step of the way. As the Bible says in Joshua 1:9, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

God calls us to take risks because he wants us to grow and to fulfill the purpose that he has for our lives. We see this truth throughout the Bible, as God called Abraham to leave his home and travel to a new land, Moses to confront Pharaoh and lead the Israelites out of Egypt, and David to face Goliath and become king of Israel.

Taking risks as a Christian does not mean that we should act recklessly or without wisdom. We should always seek God’s guidance and listen to the advice of wise counselors. However, we should not let our fears hold us back from taking the steps of faith that God is calling us to take.
